December Product Recalls
When product manufacturers discover defects in their available products, they have a legal duty to recall those products and compensate consumers for the cost of repair or replacement. If they fail to do so in a timely manner, those manufacturers could face liability for defective products that injure consumers. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) tracks and reports all consumer product recalls in the United States and publishes notices of product recalls.
