Twist’n Sparkle Beverage Carbonation System Recalled By iSi due to Explosion Hazard
iSi Issued a recall of 162,700 of their Twist’n Sparkle Home Beverage Carbonation System plastic bottles. The problem being that due to pressure the plastic bottles can explode, shooting off plastic parts which can injury anyone near the product. iSi was made aware of nine incident involving exploding bottles, including three incident where consumer received cuts in various places on their upper body. The product was sold at Williams-Sonoma, QVC and other national retailers and websites from June 2010 to March 2012. If you own one of the recalled Carbonation Systems we urge you to stop using the product immediately and contact iSi or the place of purchase and ask about a refund or store credit.
